Having been a long time fan of the Grenache produced by Los Rocas, I was curious to give this one a try. Slightly more pricey at $15.99, it was well worth the extra ducats. Lovely bright plum and raspberry notes on the nose with a light leathery note backing up the fruit with a little tannic edge rounding things out. There is a little bretty metallic note on the finish but it doesn’t detract from the overall enjoyment of the wine. Great qpr and a lovely little quaffer, I would enjoy it now, or over the next couple of years. Moe, double Larry.
