The name says it all. An overhopped insane IPA on steroids. A light copper color with a little bit of texture in the pour. A kickass fruity, floral nose with a serious bite awaits the olfactory senses. On the palate, the brew is the essence of what your nose led you to expect. The weighty feel of this intense, complex masterpiece is nicely counterbalanced by the serious bite. Not for the faint of heart, I can’t think of a better brew to sip and contemplate next to a fire on a cold, wet night. It was a great match to a bowl of roasted cauliflower and cheddar cheese soup, topped with a crunchy pile of home made croutons and lardons of pepper bacon. A bit pricey for a beer at $13.99 a sixpack but very equitable when priced to a comparably priced wine. Highly recommended.
