Call me contrary. As I lose my Wachaucentric weltanschauung, I become more fascinated with Burgenland, with Weinviertl, with Thermenregion.<\/p>\n<p>A real delight. I&#8217;m guessing that there&#8217;s some carbonic maceration going on here- the wine has a nice deep color, but is rather medium-bodoed and quite light on its feet. Intense nose of black pepper and blueberries, almost Syrah-like. Not particularly complex, but snappy and delicious.
