Not at all unpleasant, but certainly more of that greenish scent than is the norm here. Maybe it&#8217;s the vineyard, maybe it&#8217;s the stems. There&#8217;s some weight developing, but 1985 was definitely a during a style stage for Jaboulet which had less emphasis on sheer avoirdupois. Hitting the beginning of its maturity.
