1995 Juge Cornas “Cuvee C”
Flowers and pork, a hint of iron, great structure, the characteristic depth and acidity one expects from a wine of the very top rank. Juge always managed to let the vineyards do the talking, and this is a stellar example of what the south end of Cornas does best. Absolutely drinkable now, but it should last another decade. They don’t make wine like this anymore, dammit. Triple Curly.
