1992 Clos de Cazeaux Vacqueyras “Grenat Noble”

Here’s a real curiosity. I was familiar with Vache’s Cuvee des Templiers, but this was a new one for me. The fatboy informed me that it’s made from botrytis-infected red grapes, principally Grenache. All I could tell was that it was massive and excruciatingly tannic. After a day of airing out, it became excruciatingly tannic and massive. If I had some, I’d wait many more years before trying it again.
